Lucy Jones - Herbal Practitioner (A fusion of Tibetan and Western Herbal Medicine)

Lucy was trained in Tibetan Medicine at Tara Rokpa Medical College, and subsequently studied Western Herbal Medicine with the International Register of Consultant Herbalists. She practices a fusion of Tibetan and Western Herbal medicine, with a strong emphasis on using the energetic qualities of herbs to help restore healthful balance in her patients.

Lucy practices self sufficient herbalism, growing or gathering 75% of the herbs that she prescribes, meaning that most prescriptions to have very low ‘medicine miles’. Her book, ‘Self Sufficient Herbalism’ explains her system in more depth.

Tibetan medicine makes no distinction between body and mind; and Lucy specialises in issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement and stress. She also treats a wide range of physically expressed disorders including chronic fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome, sub-fertility, menstrual and menopausal imbalances, blood sugar imbalances, high blood pressure, migraine, lymphoedema and skin disorders. Lucy’s unique approach brings her patients from throughout the UK as well as mainland Europe and the USA. If you are travelling a long way she can recommend comfortable local accommodation.
