You can chose to complete the course in a time frame which suits your current commitments and lifestyle, taking breaks as and when you require. <br><br>As a result of this course you will: <br>• have a deeper insight into Ayurveda’s approach to nature, the human body and the disease process. <br>•understand the Ayurvedic approach to preventing disease and optimising health. <br>•become familiar with the different Ayurvedic constitutions (vata, pitta, kapha). <br>•recognise the importance of good food, exercise, massage and relaxation techniques. <br>•study Ayurveda’s most useful herbs and herbal formulas and the energetics behind Ayurvedic herbs <br>•gain a deeper insight into a range of common health conditions, their causes and treatments. <br>•be able to adjust diet and lifestyle in accordance to your own constitution and those you care for. <br><br>This is a 100 hour distance learning course, with the option of certification, and the possibility of accreditation for CPD. It has been designed and written by Pukka Herbs' own Ayurvedic practitioner and Herbal Director, Sebastian Pole, and experienced course material writer, Cherry Chappell. This is a portfolio course which requires you to keep a study journal on which your activities will be assessed.
